Magenta yawned, not nearly a morning person. But, today was the day that her mother got so excited about, and Magenta couldn’t disappoint her. So, she buried all of the annoyed feelings inside of her, took a deep breath, and was instantly calmed. She fluffed her hair and stretched her beautiful magenta wings. Not so long after, she heard her mother’s anxious voice and flew downstairs. “Coming Mother!” she yelled. “Are you ready for the big day? Oh who am I kidding, you obviously are!” Magenta sighed, wanting to tell her mother how wrong she was. She did not want in a million years to meet the Prince of the Wingdom. “Let’s go go go!” her mother gushed. “And remember, don’t smile or frown. It will give you wrinkles. Just keep a neutral face.” Just like that, Mrs. Sky snapped her fingers and they were teleported to the Floating Palace. They waited in the waiting room for hours, until a butler with dark blue wings escorted them in. “Hi, I’m River.” said the butler. Magenta liked him much more than the billboards of the prince which were scattered randomly all over Sky Wingdom and instantly hated that she was in line to possibly be the prince’s wife. She bolted from the palace in tears and River chased after her. “Hey, hey, it’s alright. He handed her a butterfly tissue. They then ran away together and had a secret wedding among the animals and lived happily ever after.
