Me and my long blonde curls rose from the bed. I looked to my left to see a designer dress by the Olsen twins. I went downstairs for some nice warm pancakes. I had no idea that this would be the first day of destiny. I picked up a magazine from the middle of our table. The front page headline read, “ Do you want fame?" Yes! I do. So I kept on reading -- Then enter singing with future stars. An epic battle of the bands or artists. Winner gets to go on tour with the band The Magic Makers and open for them every night. The judges will be no other than The Magic Makers themselves!
”WOW! Tour with The Magic Makers themselves! I'm totally entering. But I need a band.” I thought to myself. I had a bunch of boring classes at school. But when it got to music things got pretty awesome. Mrs. Viola -- our music teacher -- put us in groups to play a original song as a project and we had three weeks to do so. I was put with Quinn, A short-haired girl with bright red hair. She wore torn-up jeans with a shirt that said “My music my rules.” She played drums. Darik had the messiest brown hair ever! You could tell he wore the yellow shirt, and black sweats to bed. Even if he wasn’t clean, he was nice. He played guitar. Geo played bass. He was into rocks. He also loved rock and roll. So, most of his outfit was torn up. Finally there was Lola. She had silky blonde hair, which really made the pink dress she liked to wear shine. Lola played keyboard and was Miss Popular.
We spent about an hour after school trying to decide what type of music we should play. We chose rock and roll. The next day we met during free period. “ We need a song,” a silence fell in the room. Than I handed them a paper I had for years. They each took turns looking it over. “Never heard this song before,” said Lola. “That’s because I wrote it.” “ It’s great!” chanted Geo. “Amazing” chimed Darik.
We also chose a name. The Rollers was our new name. From the next three weeks we practiced the song. Then the big day came. Everyone played, but ours was by far the best. “ You need to play at singing with future stars." We turned around. It was Mrs. Viola!
“That’s a great idea,” said Lola. Everyone else seemed to like the idea. We were going to win singing with future stars. We wrote more rock and roll songs. We practiced even more. Finally the big day came. Yaaaaaa! We are go-in, go-in, goooonnne! No one will stop usssss! Once we finished, the crowd cheered. After a few more performances, The Magic Makers were ready to make their choice. “The winner is,” long silence, “The Rollers!” We toured with The Magic Makers and won world fame in just a year. Now we are on our own tour. And It all started with a middle school project.
The End...or is this the beginning?
